BABIES AGED 0-2 YEARS
Baby and Todler rooms are mixed, although each room has its own Key Worker. The ratio for the Baby Room is of 1 practitioner to 3 babies.
We have a small but welcoming room for babies, where we endeavour to maintain a familiar routine, allowing them to nap/sleep or take milk feeds as and when required.
The room is equipped with a variety of toys designed to assist with their earliest learning and developmental needs.
When organising activities it is hoped that, as the babies get older they can adapt to the general routine, before progressing into the next group at the nursery.
The seven EYFS areas of learning (as listed below) are planned for and covered from the baby room upwards, as each child learns through the most enjoyable of play!
1. Communication and language
2. Physical development
3. Personal, social and emotional development
6. Understanding the world
7. Expressive arts and design
